Project Reach

Welcome

Welcome to Project Reach, where we reach out to victims of Domestic Violence. Feel free to brows around, for it is our hope that your heart and soul are fed and that it will lead to the support of lives who have been forever changed by Domestic Violence. Most importantly to give those who have been silenced a voice....a voice to be heard around the world....

Please excuse us, we are currently updating our website.

Introduction

Project Reach is a non-profit organization supported by men and women who themselves survived Domestic Violence, who give back to help support current victims through educating and guiding them through the recovery and healing process. Project Reach is currently expanding its affiliations to be able to provide assistance and support for Domestic Violence victims, in a more comprehensive and effective manner during their time of need.

We are creating a network of existing and developing organizations and agencies. Providing a much greater reach and services that continue when victims move from one area to another - particularly between counties.

Domestic Violence Facts

One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.1 An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year.2 85% of domestic violence victims are women.3 Historically, females have been most often victimized by someone they knew.4 Females who are 20-24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence.5 Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police
Domestic violence is one of the most chronically underreported crimes.20 Only approximately one-quarter of all physical assaults, one-fifth of all rapes, and one-half of all stalkings perpetuated against females by intimate partners are reported to the police.
